At least the burners still light...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned a Char-Griller duo 5050 for a few years now. First year, no issues at all. Used it quite often and held up. After that first year, the gas side started to rust out at the bottom where the drip tray is, at the shelves for heat reflectors, and through the grates internally to the point that they fractured. 6 months after that, the coal side started to rust out the bottom as well. I asked Char-Griller about their warranty and was told...

Best grill on the market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned 2 of these because they are that good. You take care of them, they will take care of you and make you look like a professional. Super durable. As a military dude, I’ve taken mine to another country across The Atlantic and it not only survived the transit but it was ready to go on day one once it made it to my house. The versatility of both gas and charcoal means you can smoke it for a bit and finish it with a sear! Definitely a must ...

14 years and counting
I love this grill. I live in Northern Nevada and I grill 12 months out of the year. It gets cold, REALLY cold in N. Nevada, and this grill comes to temp, stays on temp, and does a perfect job every time. Our temps swing from 20 degrees to 110 degrees from winter to summer. I’ve had this Grill since 2011 and I primarily use the Gas side, but we will occasionally use the charcoal side when we want some tastier beef or for parties that we need the extra grill space. Speaking of space, the gril...

Great grill for everything
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this grill around 8nyears ago and love it. I have used it a lot, even in the winter months with the snow blowing. I have replaced the grates the burner shields and the burners over the time I have had it. The smoker works great. I am still using the grill and will definitely replace it with another one like in in the future . I would recommend this type of grill for anyone who loves to grill.

Super Versatile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Char-Griller 5050 for many years now and it is the best most versatile griller I have used in my 62 years. Side propane burner is great for fish fry and deep frying needs as well as sides preparation on propane or charcoal. I added a rotisserie and side smoker to my rig to complete an all in one cooking rig. It is top rated griller in my opinion that has everything needed for any cooking situation.

5050 w/offset firebox
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this grill/charcoaler/smoker for many years with dozens of satisfying meals. For the money it has performed exceptionally well. It covers all the bases, gas grill for week day after work when time is short. Smoker for holiday meals and when we’re craving a good ol’ smoked delicacy. Charcoal for when time is available to cook a delicious steak, burger oe chicken dinner. The gas side takes care of vegies and desserts. Can’t go wrong wit...

Best combo
This was the first smoker I ever bought and this one lasted me 16 years. I took very good care of it kept it covered cleaned it properly oiled it. I ended up selling it because I just wanted to break it up into two pieces and make it smaller the smoker would have lasted a lifetime. I love the option to have both cuz sometimes you don't want to have to cook with charcoal and you want to just use gas for a quicker option. The gas side was always consistent and even and did a really good job. I als...

This the grill for me.
I had this grill for 5 years. I absolutely love my grill. This grill has everything one needs to prepare food in any situation. I’ve used it when the power goes out, for birthdays and holidays. It’s never failed me. Over the years I’ve had to replace somethings but the parts were easy to get on this website. It’s time to get another one and I’m going to get the same model. I’ve added the side box for wood smoking and a cast iron griddle top but they enhances the grills performance. There are a c...

Check the grill before purchasing
I bought the grill for a Christmas present. I especially ask them not to put the grill together. I returned to pick the grill up the next day and the grill was put together. The employee called another Lowes that was approximately 10miles away and I was told they had a grill still in the box. I got a refund and went to that Lowes. They did have 9 grills but all of them were out together. I had to return back to the first Lowes to purchase a grill that was already put together. The grill is 300 l...

Great grill give you options
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife got this for me for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I love having the option of fuel. On busy nights it’s great to have the gas grill to quickly cook dinner. On nights that I have more time, I love to use charcoal for the extra rich flavors. This grill give the best of both worlds without taking over my whole deck.
