I love my Akorn Jr.

Easy to control heat

Had mine 4 years and this is the best small portable REAL wood smoker money can buy. Much lighter than green egg and kamoto because it’s insulated without the clay pot.

Best "Jr" Smoker I have ever owned.

Already an every day grill. Love it! Easy to use and to control the cooking temp.

NOT worth the cost

If you just want to grill a occasional burger or steak, go buy a 60 dollar charcoal grill and take care of it. If you want a grill to do more than that be prepared to shell out extra $ for the “accessories” you’ll need to do that and still not be sure it will do what is claimed. Akorn Grill - Can't go wrong.

Lowes had the best price on this grill - The grill has exceeded my expectations - The insulated dome lid provides the OVEN option if you want to slow cook, or you can ramp up the temp and cook a pizza in 12 minutes. The heat regulator works very well (adjusting the lower vent and top smoke vents) The temp-gauge is front and center. One other plus is the slow charcoal burn. I have been able to hold 300 degrees for 4 hours with a small amount of charcoal! Perfect for the Tri Tip, ribs or pork...

Absolutely wonderful!!

We live a motorhome with 4 kids. So we have limited space. My husband had had a huge gas/ charcoal & smoker when we lived in stick and bricks. We have made several things with his now in the flavor is absolutely amazing. It tastes grilled and smoked at the same time and it doesn't dry out the meat. Can't wait to discover more things with this akorn. You can even bake in it! Buy it! You won't regret.

NO WARRANTY

Worst customer service i have had to deal with. They also like to make up rules for the warrant that are not listed anywhere for customers to see. There is a reason this company has an F rating, yep rights right an F rating with the Better Business Bureau and that is cause they do not care about their customers. They have no idea what customer service even is much less are they able to give it to customers. F RATING.

Arrived with a bolt socket loose so I could not tighten the handle. I returned it. Lowe’s took it back no problem but were out of stock so I did not get a replacement.

Best Winter Grill

I just love this grill. Simple and easy to handle. Got this so that I can grill during winter and is very satisfactory till now.

Missing Latch

I bought a one of this and the ash Latch is missing. dissapointed
