Does great on cooled grill!

Well made product. I have used mine several times with good results - had to get used to provision to 'use on cool grill only,' since I previously cleaned grill right after I had finished and while still hot, and the 'cleaning cycle' had been completed. When cool, this brush stood up well with no shedding - which is why I stopped using the steel bristle brush.

A Great Grill Brush

Keeping your grill clean is a must. This brush does the job perfectly. You can use on a cold grill or one that has cooled. Easy to clean this brush which is huge in itself. I’ve had my Char-Broil grill for over 18 years and it works like a charm.

I needed to assemble grill myself since I had to transport some distance. Assembly directions were very clear. All parts were in the box. It took me a little over an hour to assemble, going relatively slowly. You will need to furnish your own tools to assemble. Impressed

First I want to say that when I bought this i was skeptic. We have always used metal brushes but after a metal bristle broke and we found it on our food we decided to go with a nylon brush. The brush is very strong and sturdy. We clean our grill multiple times a week with each use with this brush and it is amazing. Also its very easy to clean and wash the brush, I usually just put it on the top rack in the dish washer. I will purchase a replacement in the future when this one gives out.

Can’t take the heat

Can’t handle any degree of heat. Grill scrapers work best when the grill grates are hot. This one says in tiny letters that the material will melt if exposed to heat. Which I can vouch for because I melted my bristles. So, yes, the warning was there but only if you squint to read it. Metal bristles in my food are unsafe. But wouldn’t melted nylon be dangerous as well? And if you can only use it on cold grates, how effective will it ever be?

Brush is GREAT for Charbroil Infared grills!!!!!

This grill brush is great for the Charbroil Infared grills. And any other grill for that matter, won't harm your other surfaces (stainless steel grates, enameled cast iron etc.#. Make sure on the Infrared you push down a bit so you can feel the ridges around the holes in the grates, this will allow the brush to push the debris though the holes and now clean. I used to use what looks like a dental pick, very tedious, but to get the benefits of the Charbroil Infra Red you must keep the holes open/...

Used it once

This product is supposed to work best on a warm grill to get everything off. I used it one time and it MELTED. The prongs were useless at that point and it couldn't be used. I ended up going out and getting a real grill brush.

Char-Broil Cool Clean Nylon Grill Brush

I had been looking for a brush (non metal) to clean my grill. This is exactly what I needed and the price was affordable. The downside to this type of brush is that the bristles have a tendency to melt when cleaning a hot grill. Not designed to last forever, but a good purchase and tool to have for bar-b-que season!

Why the sticker

I have not used it yet but will spend the next 15 minutes scraping off a sticker that they put on it that does not come of cleanly. Very frustrating and before I even use it I recommend not purchasing it.
