Some gaps, but not that noticeable

Easy to assemble (did it myself at 65) with just a screwdriver. Instructions were easy to follow

looks nice, but manufacturer is a bit sloppy

This is a very nice looking fireplace, exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, there were a few manufacturers defects that I had to fix in order to get this assembled. First, some of the predrilled holes for the screws were too large, and I had to improvise with toothpicks and glue to get the screws to tighten. great fireplace, well made but color is off

This is a great-looking fireplace, and we are very happy with it overall, but the color is vastly different from the photos. The one in the photos shows a lot of stain variation and a darker wood, but in person it’s much lighter and more uniform. We were a little disappointed in that because it doesn’t really go with the rest of our furniture. I’ll break it down into pros/cons. Wait time is long

Wasn’t aware I had to assemble. Took me 4 hours. The fireplace insert was the finale piece. The fireplace didn’t work. Called Lowe’s, they said I had to disassemble the complete item and return in three boxes. You have got to be kidding! Called company and they said the same thing. Then they made us jump through hoops to receive a new one, even though we said we would return fire pit with a return label. Took over a week to be told it was on its way. Poor quality

Flimsy pressboard crumbles too easy. Two of the rotating lock nuts broke with 1-2 turn, not sure what type of metal they are made from, but I just fell apart. The space heater works well, but installation of it in the finished unit, scratched the unit and there’s no way to avoid it It looks fairly decent, but it doesn’t match the picture which I see as more honey colored and this is more like dark Pine. It will stay, but overall I would not buy it again I’m pretty dissatisfied with it.

DId not work

I wish I had tried to plug it in before mounting in on the wall. Set it up and it did not work. Maybe this was a one off problem, but now I have to pack it up and return it. Not sure if I will try again. When mounted it leans away from the way. It needs to be shimmed at bottom to make sit straight up and down

So-So

This is what I could afford right now. It's mostly a solid construction, although, as others have noted, the top piece doesn't fit seamlessly and there's a small gap on one side. I can live with that. The faux marble is very thin paper, like tissue, and it's obviously coated with a protectant but still, I won't be surprised if it scratches. A bit more work than expected

Upon its arrival I was supper excited. It is very pretty, but it requires a lot of taking it apart and putting it back together. The directions are a little vague. There was a part of the inside that was bent and warped and so we ended up having to open up the back and pop it back into place. Also the wall mount needed to have more holes.
