Left Door Will Not Stay Open
This refrigerator was delivered and installed but the left side door will not stay open on its own from the very beginning. We finally got around to calling Lowes installation team to fix it and they would not come out because we didn't call them within 30 days (we have been managing a renovation so we are just now resolving these minor issues).

Buyer Beware, GE will not stand behind product
Received defective product, the box has a dip in it which caused air to get into the freezer and create ice and frost all over the rails and food. I called this in during the GE warranty, but the technicians couldn't figure out the problem. They replaced parts, more parts, the entire freezer drawer, seals, etc. It took 8 months and 6 visits and their TAG team to figure it out. My Cafe Standard Depth Platinum Glass refrigerator was delivered today. I paid over $5000 for this refrigerator. Four $5000 I expect to see perfection. I bought this during a buy more save more promotion. Within the warranty period the freezer was full of ice and frost. It took GE technicians 6 visits and 8 months to determine it was a defective box and could not be repaired. They took so long that it is no longer under warranty and even though it was reported during warranty they will not replace it.
