Poor Quality Gears

This chainsaw worked great when new, but after several large branches the chain stopped spinning when meeting any resistance. There was plenty of oil in the reservoir and it was properly tensioned. After talking to Craftsman customer service they agreed to send a replacement under warranty and told me to dispose of this one. Chain difficulty

having a terrible time keeping the chain from coming off. Tension is applied like recommended. Oil level is correct. I start to use it and in a short period of time the chain comes off. It’s very discouraging and inconvenient. Otherwise very handy, lightweight, battery lasts a significant amount of time. Easy to use other than problem with chain.

gear teeth sheered after light usage.

I have only had the chainsaw for about 2 weeks and only used it a few times lighty to prune some small trees. the the blade got stuck once and now the gear the rotates the chain inside the motor has broken teeth.

Used Once Dead Battery - No Return

I purchased this Craftsman 10" Chainsaw for small projects around my home. I used it one time to cut a bush down. I then cleaned it up and kept it inside on a shelf. Lightweight, quiet, simple use

My gas chain saw died. I needed to cut up an old deck but I knew I probabky would never need a heavy-duty chain saw again. I already had the Craftsman range of battery-powered tools so this was an easy choice. No, this saw does not have power of a gas saw, but it did the job for less cost than a new gas saw. No gas, oil. No noise to bother my neighbors. The battery-power was enough to do the job of a DIYer.

Great Electric Chainsaw

I liked the utility of this chainsaw and the size being right for getting into my fence line toght spots. I have enjoyed this purchase so far. This was able to do more than i assumed it could but i totally will say you want the 4 amp hour battery if you have a lot to do in a day.

Great for the ladies

This chainsaw is great! Compact and easy to use, I feel in control at all times. 4 stars because it needs oil that does not come in the box and does not say it on the outside of the box so I had to make an extra trip to the store.
