I'm amazed at how much longer a spool of these Craftsman spools last before needing to be replaced on my Craftsman string trimmer than on my previous Ryobi brand which often needed to be pulled apart because the individual strings were melded together at certain points.

Was sold the wrong one or at least it doesn’t fit so I have to go to the store again.

Easy to Install and Cuts Great

These replacement spools fit my CRAFTSMAN trimmer perfectly and were very easy to install. The line feeds smoothly without constantly getting tangled or breaking, which makes trimming around the yard much less frustrating. They hold up well through normal yard work and provide a clean, consistent cut. Having a three-pack on hand is convenient, and I'll definitely keep buying these when it's time to replace the line.

Thoroughly test new equipment

I previously bought a trimmer at Lowes and this is my second purchase of spooled trimmer line pack. My low rating concerns the overall poor performance of the trimmer. The automatic feed of trimmer line works poorly and, most often in the edger mode, feeds too much line and I have to stop and rewind the extra line back on the spool. Junk waste of money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Please do not waste your money on these spools the line on them you get halfway through start getting stuck then they start breaking. They’re just not very well rolled up on there. They rob them so tight that it overlaps and pull them and then they break and stick and you end up loafers in a half a spool done lost like six spools like I said, a waste of your money by your own spring and rewind them yourself a little bit bigger hole in the spool...

modify yourself

There is a lip on the center cone that I had to drill out because the spool would not sit flush on the mount.

no better than generic line

I bought this thinking it would work better than the generic line I'd been buying. It is no different. The Craftsman trimmer still kicks out too much line without me trying to get extra line. You just have to cut it off and waste it because it won't work properly, which is the same with the generic line. I'm really disappointed in this product, especially considering the price difference when compared to the generic line.

Weedeater Line

It fit per free colt and it works! The thread goes through a whole heck of a lot before any chips off or breaks. It rarely breaks like the ones before.
