It is not a self oiling saw. Oil the chainby hand
It worked great for what I needed it for but it is top heavy when you are using all of the extensions to reach branches that are high.
Good product for light duty use.
Light weight, perfect for senior citizens. Good on light-duty tasks like clearing patios, decks, and garages; however, underpowered for moving large amounts of leaves more than 2 inches thick. Like the two speed operation. Battery life being a concern, especially on high power. Don’t get a full four hours of operation, but it works long enough for the deck.

Don’t trust the labeled price, check receipts
I liked the fact it was on sale for 59.00, but i hate the fact that you charged me 118.00 for it.

Got the job done
Effective on thicker limbs, although stability depends heavily on upper body strength for upper limits of reach. Was not wild about the fact that there is no self-lubricating chain oil reservoir, but comparing prices, it’s a trade-off I can live with. If you’re in your 70’s and not blessed with the upper body strength you (thought you still) had in your 40’s and 50’s, consider calling a tree service - my limitation, not the fault of the implement.
Real World Test Results
Key Details: - Battery Capacity: 4Ah (Amp-hours) - Router Runtime: 4.5 hours - Router Power Draw: Let's assume the Xfinity router draws around 10 watts on average. Step 1: Calculate the Router's Power Consumption 1. Convert the router's power draw (watts) to current (amps): Current (A) = Power (W) / Voltage (V) Most routers run on 12V DC, so: Current = 10W / 12V = 0.83A 2. Calculate the total energy used by the router during the test: Energy Used (Ah) = Current (A) x Time (hours) ...
Excellent with bigger battery
This pole saw works great with the bigger battery. Cuts cleanly and easily. Extension poles are good. They add to the pole length in segments, not sliding adjustments. This has been a big upgrade from our manual pole saw. Really helpful to keep limbs from hanging too close to the roof and keeping a higher clearance over the driveway for moving our RV in and out easily. Definitely recommend adding the larger capacity batteries.
Nice addition to my yard tools.
I like the poke saw because it's adaptable. Just add the extension and you have a longer reach. Being battery powered you don't have to worry about having a long enough extension cord. It paid for itself the first day I used it. The local tree service wanted a minimum of $250 to trim the branches that were brushing against the roof of the house.
Flimsy
The pole is super flimsy! I will be returning this! It flops around and due to the flimsy pole it is hard to stabilize - bounces and grabs - not a telescopic pole which makes it inconvenient to stop and add or remove extension

Great tools for a reasonable price!
The price is great and works awesome for occasional tree trimming. The pole is a little flimsy but gets the job done. The 4 amp battery will last through a good number of branches and doesn’t take that long to recharge. It worked for what I needed to accomplish without having to spend a couple hundred bucks more. I also bought the hedge trimmer and leaf blower so the batteries being interchangeable will be handy to have. Highly recommended!

Since today is 12/20, and since I didn't actually purchase this item, had you considered that perhaps my wife bought it for me as a gift?
