Perfect tool

My wife got me this for Fathers Day and I finally got to use it. I put a battery on and went to work. I have an entire row of bushes between my property and the neighbors and more between me and the creek. We used it for hours and one battery did it the whole time. It works great and cuts amazing. It’s pretty light weight and it pretty strong! I all thought it sounded weak at first but it’s really a quiet tool for a hedge trimmer. I love this thing!

easy to use

The trimmer has a 20 inch blade and runs on a 20 volt battery. This particular model was sold as the Trimmer only. But there is a battery included model as well. Great Cut and No Cords!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife tried out the new edger out front on our bushy vines curbside. Worked great. Job took only about 10 minutes, and the 2ah battery was ready for more action. Was so much better than my old corded Black and Decker corded model. And no need to rewind the 100-foot cord!!

Light weight and durable

I struggle cutting bushes because my old trimmer was heavy and made my hand numb from shaking. With this i was able to easily complete the task and it doesnt shake aggressively. I love that its battery operated, saves me from hauling a long cord.

I am impressed

I am impressed by this trimmer. It cuts very good and the battery lasts a decent time. I was surprised about the branch thickness this can handle. Made trimming a whole lot easier.

Lightweight and powerful

I bought this product because I already have several Craftman products, drill blower and now this hedge clipper. It is lightweight and was so sharp. I am old and was able to cut brush and thorn bushes with such ease it worked amazingly. I was able to use one hand and arm and dlice through the brush. I already had a couple of the same batteries and it never failed. I worked all day and cleared my entire yard of the nasty thorns.

Much better than a gas powered trimmer

So much better than a gas powered trimmer, less noisy, more convenient, ready to go without hassles of gas. Seems powerful enough for our hedges. I have other tools that use the same batteries, so it’s good to know I have backups.

Good deal and great addition to my V20 tool set

This was easy to setup out of the box with just assembling the shield and handle. I trimmed two hedge bushes and they both looked wonderful after using this hedge trimming tool. This tool is lightweight and provides good deal for trimming up the few hedge bushes at my home. This is relatively quieter than a gas trimmer. This matches my V20 set of string trimmer and blower using the same battery type. I would recommend this for residential use.

New Generation of Battery Tools are Superior.

I've always been skeptical of battery operated lawn tools, however, this Craftsman Hedge Trimmer has performed flawlessly. I purchased it to cut back some overgrowth on my property and I have yet to have it not be able to cut anything.
