Perfect DIY Nailer

I thought this was a good deal and I saw good reviews about it on youtube so I bought it and picked it up the same day. This thing is not as good as it seems. It has several aspects that are extremely annoying which are why I am returning it. One, at least the one I have is constantly false jamming. 3rd Brad nailer. Failure to shoot/flashing light.

Bought this Craftsman V20 18ga brad nailer in the kit about 1 year ago. The first time I used it the nailer would not fire a nail and the light would continuously blink. I performed all troubleshooting and still no solution. I was frustrated and went out and bought a new one before remembering the warranty. Was excited to finally use. Worked well for 2 days (probably 3 hours total work time), then started with never-ending flashing lights, not shooting nails...the same issues others note. Beyond useless after minor, by-the-book use. Got a Bauer from HF and finished the job without issue using that.

New Craftsman 18 Guage nailer

After spending a number of hours attempting to install oak trim moulding under hall steps and fighting bent finishing nails, ruined moulding and "hammer thumb" I finally gave up. worked great until it didn't

worked great for the first couple projects. still shoots but won't even set ¾ brads all the way.. used to set 1½ no problem. other day was doing shadow box chair rail and just wouldn't set the nails. it hasn't jammed a single time. has a fully charged battery. really sucks because i have nearly the full line of the cordless craftman. only the 18g nail gun tho. been debating between the craftsman or ryobi pin gun and this may have told me. i already have ryobi router and leaf blower with a coupl...
