DO NOT BUY!
I thought this was a good deal and I saw good reviews about it on youtube so I bought it and picked it up the same day. This thing is not as good as it seems. It has several aspects that are extremely annoying which are why I am returning it. One, at least the one I have is constantly false jamming. I go to shoot and the led light just blinks nonstop until I remove the battery, open the magazine, open the tip and pull the jam release lever. Of all the times that it has happened, I have actually ...
great while it lasted....
Was excited to finally use. Worked well for 2 days (probably 3 hours total work time), then started with never-ending flashing lights, not shooting nails...the same issues others note. Beyond useless after minor, by-the-book use. Got a Bauer from HF and finished the job without issue using that.
3rd Brad nailer. Failure to shoot/flashing light.
Bought this Craftsman V20 18ga brad nailer in the kit about 1 year ago. The first time I used it the nailer would not fire a nail and the light would continuously blink. I performed all troubleshooting and still no solution. I was frustrated and went out and bought a new one before remembering the warranty. Got the new (2nd version) home and tried to fire Brad nails and same issue. Again, I did the troubleshooting procedures and still no resolution. I’ve tried multiple batteries and still will n...

Great product with added value!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This V20* Cordless 18 Ga. Finish Nailer is a great product with added value. When I received this product I was amazed at the comfortness of the grip and the weight of the nailer. The battery has a charge level indicator that is activated by pressing a button and will also flash when there is a jam or battery is low. There is 3 lights on the indicator, when the battery is full the indicator, when activated, will display 3 lights. When the batte...

New Craftsman 18 Guage nailer
After spending a number of hours attempting to install oak trim moulding under hall steps and fighting bent finishing nails, ruined moulding and "hammer thumb" I finally gave up. Ordered the Craftsman CMCN 618 nailer, read the directions, charged the battery and went to work. Nailer worked perfectly, each stair taking less than a minute or two. Again, following directions to load the nails and set proper depth, everything went as it should. Two comments; first, I was wearing ear protection bu...

worked great until it didn't
worked great for the first couple projects. still shoots but won't even set ¾ brads all the way.. used to set 1½ no problem. other day was doing shadow box chair rail and just wouldn't set the nails. it hasn't jammed a single time. has a fully charged battery. really sucks because i have nearly the full line of the cordless craftman. only the 18g nail gun tho. been debating between the craftsman or ryobi pin gun and this may have told me. i already have ryobi router and leaf blower with a coupl...

Excellent Tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Finish Nailer a few weeks ago, and have found it to be excellent. I am a DIYer, and found this nailer to be a good value compared to other Finish Nailers on the market. It feels lighter than many of the other brands out there and was just more comfortable to handle than the other Nailers I looked at. It was also less expensive than many of the others. I was impressed with the battery life I got with it. It worked well for m...

Freedom of cordless!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have steadily been upgrading my home on my own, and have found that I needed a nail gun if I wanted to do a professional grade job in a relatively quick time frame. The Crafstman V20 cordless 18 gauge finish nailer has been a welcome addition to my tool arsenal. I have struggled in the past with attaching trim without damaging it by dinging it with a hammer or hitting my fingers with the same hammer. I love that I can use this nailer where...

Very Pleased
I was doing a shiplap wall in my living room. Didnt want the hassle of a gun and compressor so I went with this model. Couldn't be more pleased! Shot over 700 nails without a single jam. Not sure what these other people were talking about with one star reviews. Probably not very skilled. I would highly recommend this product. Only slight drawback was the battery died and I had to wait to recharge. Gave me time to clean up and knock down a couple cold ones.
