Burnt out on first use and possible fire risk.

Great tool if you have realistic expectations

I have used this a lot when the power goes out. It is important to have realistic expectations, though. It is a 150 watt power source. Since I already have Craftsman V20 batteries for my other cordless power tools, this made perfect sense to let me use the energy I already had in the batteries during a power outage. Great craftsman tool to use!

Bought this during a power outage and it helped charge all our fans and phones! Make sure to have batteries already charged and handy, it’s very helpful!

Very useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to use for a temporary power supply at work (industrial maintenance) and at home during storms and short power outages. I like that I can use it with my existing batteries. That lets me have a power bank with a longer life by swapping batteries instead of paying for a large power bank with an integrated battery.

Not what you think it is

Not what you think it is. It's listed as a portable power station. But it's only a part. Besides this piece, which is tiny, not like shown in the pictures, you need to buy a battery for it, which is about $120, and you need to buy a charger for it. It's not a power station it's a piece I bought it for the pending storm hoping to have an alternate power source to charge cell phones on such. So many of the bad reviews would've been avoided if they had read anything! This thing is awesome. Most of it's use for me is in the form of small tools while working outside, but the peace of mind of having backup power during outages is worth it too!

False Listing

I'm not well versed in power tools. However, this was listed as a power station, not a power inverter like stated on the box. It also said it could be charged with a wall outlet. Again, not true. Only able to charge it if you have a $100 battery of the same brand. So due to the listing, I paid and received something that I didn't need and couldn't use.

Absolute must buy. Very useful!

Compact power inverter is great. Perfect for charging electronics with the USB-A or C port. The 110 plug is perfect for charging other electronics or in my case testing Christmas lights. Useful for camping or wherever you need some battery power and it has an LED light! If you’re in the Craftsman line this is a no brainer purchase. Recommended it to two friends and they bought it and love it.
