i do not recommend

latches do not line up when you want to close. if you put something in this box the weight will twist the box so you cannot close the lid correctly. the plastic shows stress cracks like its ready to break. the handle slips out every now and then. i do like that is black. you can also put the tray in on either side, helpful if you put stuff in the box

Mostly good

Overall, it is a good toolbox that serves it's purpose. It's large enough to carry a substantial amount of tools, but small enough to carry. The water-tight seal works well. I left it in the back of my pick-up for about 5 months through heat, rain, and snow, and never had an issue with tools getting wet inside. My only complaint is that the latches seem to be cheaply made and they had some play that would allow them to move a little side-to-side, which would frequently cause them to not clo...

Multifunctional equipment

This tool box is a good usable size for protecting extra large lunches, or doubles as a case for taking some weapons and ammo to the range. Maybe both at the same time. It is a little small for the very large guns. However, the price was attractive and my mood to buy was right.

Poor product

The rear hinges are awful. The pins slide around and then the ends of the pins stick out from the hinges and gouge your legs or anything else they contact. And the removable tray doesn't sit there properly. Instead it falls down into the tool box constantly.

A toolbox for awesomeness!

A durable deep box to store all you essential tools, for whatever task is on the to-do list. Comes with a removable tray that is NOT the full length of the box, which is a plus. Why you ask? Great toolbox

Love these toolboxes, they are also made by Stanley fat max and bostich (which I have owned for a few years), each with their own color, works great for organizing tools and they are built to last. The handle will not break with 30 or 40 lbs of tools loaded in them something I’ve had issues with in the past). My only minor note is that the latches can be a little hard to close, but that’s better then them randomly opening.

Tool box for storage on utility trailer

I bought this box to use as storage on my utility trailer. I keep tie downs, tools and anything else that I might need for the day's job. It works great by drilling through the bottom and bolting it to the trailer tongue frame. The waterproof seal makes it perfect for storing straps or anything that you don't want to get wet. The double lock makes it secure and deters theft or tampering.

It really is waterproof

It rode to the job site and back in the back of my open Pickup bed and everything stayed dry.. just like advertised.. nice sized box and the way the tray only takes up part of the box leaving one end full height is really helpful..
