What Customers Are Saying
The pole saw has a mixed performance. It is lightweight and easy to use for cutting smaller branches, with the ability to detach the saw for use as a regular chainsaw. However, the tool is top-heavy and unstable when fully extended, making it difficult to control. The saw is also heavier than expected, which can cause fatigue. Some customers reported issues with the chain oiling system and manufacturing defects. Overall, the pole saw may be suitable for light, occasional use, but may not be robust enough for frequent, heavy-duty pruning tasks.

Love rhe ides, it seems a bit unstable , could use more reinforcement t9 be stable at extended height use.

Mighty machine
Paid for itself in one mornings work! I really did not have high expectations for an electric / plug-in chainsaw but for a tool I am going to use so little I really did not want to spend a lot of money. Picked this one up on sale on a Sunday morning and put it to work 30 mins later falling 2 med tree's, a massive oak tree branch, and many other dead limbs on my property that has been unmaintained for a good while. Yes it is very top heavy on the extension pole but as long as you place it where ...

works
Does everything it said it would do. A bit awkward when fully extended, but with some practice, works fine. Used it to trim a tree with 4-6 in branches and it did the job. The hardest thing was purchasing it...had to go outside and order a pick up via online in order to get the sale price.

Good tool
This is an amazing and powerful little chainsaw. I’m surprised at its power and only wish I were more of an artist so I could create chainsaw art! It is handy and light when using it without the extension pole. It’s a bit heavy with the pole, but not too much so for a guy or strong woman. Two minor problems: one, you have to stand pretty much under the limbs you are trying to cut, which means they can come crashing down on your head. Two, It’s hard to see the blade because the main body of the ...

Top Heavy, Easy to Lose Control
Saw is very safe if using without pole extension although it does cut well. I have found that the saw must be placed on the branch to be cut before turning it on. It will start cutting immediately without any control problem. However, after the branch is cut, watch out for the falling branch and the falling saw. Because it is so top heavy, it is difficult to control it when there is no branch holding it up. Also, the pole wants to vibrate itself loose so it must continuously be retightened...

Tough Little Chainsaw
Quality product that does a great job of cutting small to medium sized tree limbs

For Horizontal Branches Only
This Chainsaw/Pole combination would be fine if the trees you need to prune had branches that stuck out perpendicular to the tree's trunk, aka, horizontal or near horizontal branches. My trees; Crepe Myrtles and Almond trees grow limbs mainly vertically so the cuts need to be horizontal with the pole nearly parallel to the ground. That makes the chainsaw on the end of the pole extremely heavy and difficult to control. It's a "Brick on a Stick".

Great chain saw, ok pole saw
I bought this for some tree pruning and to cut down a dead tree. I figured this being a 2 in 1 would help me save money. It does a great job cutting limbs and thick wood. It does great as a chain saw. As a pole saw, I think just getting a dedicated pole saw would be better, if you’re going to be doing a lot of pruning and high pruning. With it being a chain saw on a pole, once you get to higher cutting, it gets quite heavy trying to lift the saw over 10ft. As I cut through the limbs at height, w...
