Always oiled blades and greased gears. Got almost 4 years out of it. Plastic housing melted that aligns the main gear to the motor gear.

A good bargain on a pretty good trimmer

I bought this to replace a 30 year old Black and Decker trimmer that finally died. This unit is much lighter and easy to handle with just one hand. It made quick work of the boxwoods and laurels I was trimming. I gave it four stars instead of five because I am uncertain about its durability. Shouldn't be a problem for me since I will only use it about 15-20 hours per year. But based only on its performance during the 10 or so hours I used it, I would highly recommend. Cuts like a banshee

I picked this up for the same cost of a gas rental. Figured if it would last the 40 feet of yopon Holley shrub I had left I’d be ahead. It’s so small and light I felt guilty knowing it was going to burn up. Boy was I wrong it cut through the yopon like it was butter. Lightweight for woman

I bought this trimmer for a quick cleanup for some out of shape bushes in my yard. I loved how easy it was to plug in and start the task. Not too heavy and the blade was long enough for me to not have to go deep in the bushes for personal reasons (bugs). Great product for the price and it got the job done. Highly recommend.

No cord

It says corded but no cord was included. I actually had bought 1 last year, and when i tried to use it this year, there's no cord so i thought i had lost the cord, reason why i bought again this year and there was NO cord in this one too. So it shouldn't say "corded". I found an extension cord in my shed that works with so i was able to use it. It works well though. Thanks.

Small-job Craftsman Hedge Clipper

Small and compact and works great for me! I have a small hedge in front of my house, and this is the perfect tool to use. The job was quick, and my hedge looked so nice after! One thing, the electrical cord (that the customer furnishes) kept falling out of the socket area--you just have to keep an eye on that. Great little hedge clipper, though! Thanks Lowe's and Craftsman! I love it!

It’s worth the price

I like that it’s light weight but not a fan of not having the switch or button to set it to stay running while trimming My other two I had from black and decker both had the button to stay running so I could get more cut without thumb getting tired of holding switch

Lightweight and easy to use

I’m a 55 year old grandmother that lives alone and still do my own yard work. With that being said, I’ve also had 2 separate cervical fusions on m neck. I used my hedge trimmer last weekend with ease. It’s lightweight, cuts perfectly & includes a cover for the blades. 10/10 recommend this to anyone!

Gets the job done

The only thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars is I wish the cord had a better and more secure connection. Other than that this helped me to trim my entire yard in less time and with better level precision than my hand trimmers
