I purchased two of the 2000 Series 5 -Drawer Steel Rolling Tool Carts. Both were well packaged, but one had a big dent in the back that did not affect the use of the cart so I kept it. The product is excellent and was exactly what I expected. The process of getting an undamaged toolbox was a challenge. Initial thought was home. OK Rolling Tool Cabinet -- Poor Packaging!!!

BEWARE!! I read the reviews and saw many complaints about the damage to the cabinet discovered after unpackaging even when the outside of the carton looks OK. I checked the outside packaging in the store before purchasing and thought I had a winner. However, when I unpackaged (very careully) the cabinet at home, I discovered that on one end, both bottom corners were badly dented from what was apparently a drop somewhere in the shipping process. Quality Control

1DRAWER...was not properly aligned and installed which doesn't allow soft close function to work or even the key to lock the entire tool.box, as it doesn't close fully to engage mechanism for locking bar. Very Fustrating.

Quality problem at factory, no QC

Purchased this unit and discovered the third drawer didn't work. Returned and repurchased to find the second unit had the SAME drawer problem. I've spent hours on this and I'm left very disappointed over their claim for Craftsman quality. How hard is it to check 5 drawers before leaving the factory?

Good product and nice finish looks good

Good construction and finish is nice, the drawers work smoothly and the soft close is a added bonus but the wheels are secured with metal screws and i dont understand why thats where they choose to save money when the rest of the tool cabinet is solid.

Great chest. Poor packaging

Craftsman really messed up with this tool chest. the chest is well made and looks really nice. The problem is it came pre dented. I would have probably dented it eventually, but I wasn't expecting it to come already dented. The way this chest was packaged was appalling. This heavy chest was placed in a box on top of a thin piece of styrofoam with a similarly thin piece of styrofoam on top. That's it.
