I have a few different hammers, mostly heavy framers, but I wanted a lighter hammer for smaller stuff that didn't have a textured face since I was putting bee hives together. Easy to use, claw has some very good grip if you need to pull nails and makes it effortless to do. Strike suface is smooth but I didn't have issues with it sliding off the head when I use it for smaller projects.
