My wife and I are installing concrete countertops with CTS cement all. After the concrete set up we needed a sander to polish the concrete. We ordered a SKIL sander which said was in stock. About 30 minutes after I ordered the sander in the store I get a call from Lowe’s telling me that it was not available and they had a better 3 amp sander that they could substitute it with. I said yes and went back to the store to pick it up. This Craftsman sander works good for polishing.

No vac connector
Does a good job of sanding. No hand fatigue from vibration. Dust bag is only good for maybe 20 minutes. The thing that really aggravates me is there is no connector for any type of shop vac! This looks like a Dewalt clone but I see comments that the Dewalt connector does not fit anything but a Dewalt vac!😡

A "suggestive sell", either on the product or even in the store, would have been advantageous, and good business sense too. Sands Great Without Numbing Your Hands
I'm building a bench using construction grade pine and this sander has been working great. I'm sanding with three grits of sandpaper; 80, 120, 180, and my hands don't feel numb after sanding. I'm working outdoors so dust collection isn't an issue for me. Allot of the sawdust is collected in the bag, but not all of it, which is common with any sander.
