I purchased this planer and immediately cleaned it, waxed it, and checked the level of the in and out feed tables. From the factory Craftsman was dead on with the infeed and outfeed boards being level with the planer. I feed my first board through and get snipe. I triple check the level, again, Craftsman was good enough to get the level dead on. Great planner for the money.

The planner worked great and the vacuum port pick up most of the chip with a shop vac, The surfaced looked great. very smooth. I even built a table with out heed wings to hold the boards as they came out of the planner.

Pricing was best I found I would say branding but we all know craftsman is not the quality it once was, but what is Cannot comment on fiction as it is still unused

I have had this planer for about 6 months. It does a great job, especially for the price. Used it on some 100 year old cypress for a bench and the lumber looked brand new.

Baught this for a spicific set of projects using white oak. So far the planer has handled the material well. Sent 100 sq/ft thru so far.

I purchased the planer the other day and started to set it up today. I am just a hobbyist so I figured I didn’t need to spend a fortune for the little bit of use it would get. Well, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for is spot on for this planer. Wasted Time!!!!!!!

For the third (3) time now have ordered from Lowe's and all 3 shipments had problems with. Wasted all day again waiting on the shipment that has not arrived. I have spent over $20,000.00 and they can't deliver on time. If its not in the store do not buy from Lowe's.

Bought to use down the road to build cabinets. Have it a trial run converting framing 2x4s into wall end cap molding. Took the 3-1/2 to 3-1/8, also the 1-1/2 to 1-1/8. Then used router to cut 3/4 deep channel. Impressive cutting. Yes, I got some sniping. I need a better set up in the space I was using. Plus an 8ft 2x4 is easy to get snipe at one end or the other. Make sure you connect your shop vac!
