I'm a homeowner, have done a lot of DIY projects, and needed to break up about 450 sf of tile for a reno project. I already had the Bosch Bulldog (11255VSR), which has done great for run-of-the-mill hammer drilling and much smaller demo/chipping projects. But after trying the Bulldog for a short while on this larger project, and making little progress, I opted to upgrade to this tool. This Boschhammer cut down the demo time by at least two-thirds, if not more, compared to the progress I was m...
Monster hammer drill
I purchased this to have a hammer drill with the larger arbor to do heavier duty work than my other one if the same brand. The other works fine but we were drilling 2 1/2" holes through 10" thick poured concrete walls. I calculated one hour per hole and with the proper bit from Lowe's we drilled them in about 20 minutes each, giving time for it to cool down between jobs. Great product and I would recommend it highly. Don't buy a good hammer drill then go cheap on bits.

Fantastic hammer
Even though this isn't technically a demolition hammer, I am demolishing about 800 square feet of parking lot. Broke up about 150 square feet in about 2 hours. 3 layers of asphalt 6" deep. I don't think any other hammer would have gone any faster. It simply broke it up as fast as I could move to the next spot. After the first hour the hammer got even stronger. Wore down the 3" chisel quite a lot. Just an all around unreal hammer. Tons of power. Don't know how fast it would break a 6" hardened ce...
Best drill I’ve ever purchased
Yes, this drill is heavy and yes, it can cause a lot of damage if used improperly but this is by far one of the strongest drills on the market. I specialize in low voltage installations and recently started a warehouse job. My standard hammer drills just were not up to the task when drilling in or through this building. I decided to spend the $700 plus dollars for this drill and it’s customized bits. Best purchase I ever made! I even used this on a residential job and it goes through any type of...
Chipping hammers.
In the past 10 years I bought an over 500 of these. Very good light weight hammer. Never had any issues with it.

Great ground rod pounder
I pounded 5 ground rods with this. It did a great job. The site had lots of basketball to car size rocks so they weren't going in all the way. The backhoe operator tried to push some ground rods in with the bucket, but couldn't get them any deeper than this tool. Pretty impressed. Used it for a long time in 90 degree weather without breaks at a dusty site and it never faltered.

Replacing exact model. Been very reliable.
Drilled hundreds of 4” and 6” holes in concrete

Just terrifical!
I've used this so far to chip blocks of ice from after winter snowfall has melted onto my walkway (a non-snow aware builder from sunny LA designed the bermed house I rent in the Colorado Rocky Mountains with a metal roof, so 4-6" of snow means up to 2'-3' of heavy dumped snow on the entire walkway just to get to the door after coming back from any trips. And being in the mountain's shadow means no sun for 5 weeks a year, and inevitably, a layer of thick ice forms at the bottom. This makes breaki...

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Milwaukee hammer drill and it quit halfway through the 1st hole in concrete block. I purchased the Bosch hammer drill and it went through the block like a hot knife through butter. I drilled 10 5/8 inch holes in no time. The only downside is you need SDS bits in this drill so the multitude of bits I have are not useable.
