Replaced a Corded yellow version

So far so good. Took a bit of wiggling to get the blade lock to engage, but once I got past that, this works as well or better than the corded yellow one I bought this to replace. Just make sure you have batteries (I have three, so I was confident with this purchase).

Freaking awesome sawzall. I am an HVAC technician, so I cut through old condensers, sheet metal, drywall all the time (tons of dust), and also cut through a 12" tree limb no problem with this thing. I almost use it as much as my impact hammer. The two speed selection is certainly nice, and the "quick attachment" blade chuck is nice too. had higher expectations

i like that it's mobile so i don't need an extension cord. the saw works great when the battery is charged, however one would need to carry extra batteries. the batteries deplete quite quickly. i could only saw through 6 or 7 4x4 treated lumber before i didn't have enough power to saw any more. batteries aren't cheap, and i would suggest getting at least two extra, since it takes time to charge a single battery.

Not a tool to brag about

I don’t personally own this but a contractor I work with does and we constantly have to bust out a corded due to the fact that this thing has no power whatsoever it’s quiet because the speed sucks, it doesn’t do a lot of work, super easy to bog down with little pressure. Blade change is ridiculous to try and work with. Overall it gets 90% of jobs done, just takes forever to cut through most materials, especially wood. I wish it were brushless

It is strong, comfy and durable but an 8aH battery is dying by lunch and then another by 3P end then I have to switch back to the other to finish the day.I just expected more. That’s my only complaint though.I have to switch batteries one more time than I believe I should.

Perfect saw for any demo work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this saw about 2 months ago and I used it to prune a tree and it easily cut through any and all branches and the battery for it easily last all day completed the job off a single charge so I highly recommend this tool or any of bosch tools
