I received 2 basil plants via shipment. It was packaged good, but the delivery driver left it upside down and the some of the dirt fell out. (I recommend purchasing this in store) The dirt was very wet, so it was watered well before shipment. I immediately took the basil out of the box and planted them. Two plants arrived boxed well. The plants were very dry. Soil was crumbling. Followed the provided instructions and watered as soon as the plants were unboxed. Let them sit for 2-3 days in a pan of shallow water and misting daily. Placed in filtered sunlight daily. After a few days the plants began to wilt a little. welp. had 4 lovely live plants delivered. 3 days later 1 died. now this am another has died over night. found 2 LARGE catipiller type critters had eaten thru said plants leaves and alive on stems. pics to follow.

Two Pack of Bonnie Plants Potted Sweet Basil arrived in great shape due to the extreme care Bonnie Plants took to ensure the basil plants would arrive undamaged! I got them right into the garden, planted them and watered them deeply for the first week. They are growing great and we've already used some with our meals. It is nice and sweet and very aromatic. Strong sweet basil

The sweet basil looks fresh and the leaves are gentle and full. The roots look strong and well watered and tended for. When I had them delivered they came well protected in a plastic, environments safe container. Sweet basil is usually easy to grow and then quickly dies I have found. These have strong roots so I expect a long life.

I was hesitant about ordering plants.

Because of my age, I was unable to shop for my own herb plants for the first time in my life. I was not expecting much, but decided to give Lowe's delivery a try. I was absolutely delighted with the plants I received. They were healthy and planted in nice, moist soil and packed in a way that allowed them to arrive undamaged. I am very relieved to know that I can depend on Lowe's for beautiful herb plants in the future.
