Mosquito season is coming and this year I wanted to plant citronella in my container garden as a natural way to keep them at bay. Surprisingly versatile Citronella plant

Never had a Citronella plant so I jumped at the chance to get one. Plant arrived in a secure shell package to prevent shipping damage. Turns out its a very versatile plant. While its leaves are a nice vibrant green, it will apparently produce pink flowers in summer as well. In addition to looks, it gives off a nice light lemony scent and will also repel mosquitos. Small and withered

I got this Citronella plant because the pictures showed a beautiful small plant that I thought would look beautiful on my patio table and the possibility to keep some bugs away was a real bonus. I was excited to open the box when it came in. It was very well packaged and came pretty quick. It does have a nice smell to it as well. Beautiful Citronella Plants

The plants arrived quickly, well-packaged, and in good condition. They were healthy, easy to replant, and I'm very pleased with them.

Two plants died in the same month.

I tried to return to Lowes, was told by return desk that that do not except returns from Bonnie. Because they are annules or something to that effect. Nothing on plant display noting that.

Healthy plant. Strong aroma.

Decently packaged with the exception of some soil being spilled in packaging. Wish Lowe’s would have some type of cover that would fit on the container part around the base of the plant to prevent soil from spilling all over. Could have also been how it was handled during shipment. Healthy looking plan nonetheless and smell was amazing as soon as I opened it up. Hopefully it thrives once it is transplanted.

Scrawny damaged plants

I have had luck with buying online from Lowes things I can't find locally. These plants were a joke. They are not as pictured, but tiny little dried up things. Theppackaging from Bonnie seemed good, but FedEx held them up in heat somewhere, and disregarded "this sideuup" on the box. So opening my plants, I found them weak, broken leaves and dry scrawny. I could have gotten rich robust ones at Petittis garden center locally, but opted to order them at the same time I orderedaa Gardenia plant. BI...

Citronella in pot

I had this plant shipped to me. The shipping was fast and packaged well. It looked a little tired from the travels but it shaped up nicely once I replanted. I have it in conditions outlined in the placard that came with the plant. It's looking great now! I am hoping it will keep at least one mosquito away now!

Luscious citronella scent

Such a great addition to any yard, if you like the smell of citronella. It is supposed to help detract mosquitoes so hopefully it will help on that account. Easy to plant in a pot to keep on our back porch where we enjoy sitting in the evenings and weekends. It’s a lovely addition to your yard or patio.
