Gt300 is better

The gun itself is great. Heats and keeps up with a good flow rate. You can use it all day long. The issue I have with this is the flip stand. You can't dispense glue functionally unless you flip it out of the way. So you flip the stand, dispense your glue, and now what? You have a time limit because the glue is cooling, so you want to put the gun down and stick your stuff together. Now you need to use both hands to flip the stand down (or manipulate it awkwardly with one hand against a table or ...

Good for arts and crafts projects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the glue gun to repair a wall decoration that was broken. A piece had to be glued back on the material used for the project. The gun heated to temperature within a few minutes and the glued flowed appropriately. It was a great tool!

Great for all hobby projects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old glue gun quit working so I purchased this glue gun. This is a much nicer one and I like the fact that you can adjust it to low or high heat. I would purchase again and I would recommend it.

GREAT GLUE GUN

This glue gun is lightweight, but gets hot enough to meet all the needs of the woodshop. It has tips for precision gluing of small pieces or for larger glue areas. I was impressed with it.

Great glue gun. But it’s not for every repair

This is 300 watt unit. It shoots out a lot of glue and fast. I used it to glue very large surface. If I had used lower wattage glue gun, the first part would have cooled before the last part was applied with HOT glue. For smaller repair, you might want smaller (lower power) glue gun. If you have very large surfaces to glue (like gluing boxes for shipping), then you want something this high wattage.

Ease of Use

Used it to repair some broken items as well as some crafyys and it worked perfectly. Love the the high low option. This is a great feature most glue guns have one setting only and I also like that it has. Holy in stand and it comes with glue sticks as well.

Jack of all trades

Easy to Use, Lightweight and Quick to Heat Up

Used the GT 301 Glue Gun extensively to craft signage for an upcoming Gardening Exposition and was thrilled with how light, easy to use and convenient the product was. It not only did the job but when used literally for hours did not cause discomfort. Furthermore, it was quick to heat up and equally quick to cool off when finished with it. Overall a great little product for light craft work at a very reasonable price.
