With its overpowering bright orange paint, this snowblower has to be ranked one of the ugliest on the market. I mean it has the personality of a 1960s farm tractor. But, the point of a snowblower is not to be pretty now is it. The true measure of a snow blower is : 1. How well does it handle snow that runs as deep (or deeper) than its intake? 2. How durable is it? 3. If something does go wrong how complicated is it to fix? In my short experience with this machine (one season) I can only compare ...

My Snow Blower times 2
As of 12-11-2023 I have not been able to us it. NO Snow so far where I live. But with that said I did start it for the first time and it ran OK. The big issue I have is when I primed it for the first time the gas ran out through it out on to my floor. I talked to the staff at my local Lowes store and told them about this issue. If it still continues I will bring it back to the store. As a side note: I bought the snow blower on Saturday 11/18/2023. I didn't have a way to pick it up, so I asked t...

After using this severeal times to clear my driveway and parking lot I would give this machine high marks for power, easy steering and thoughtful design. We've had a record amount and duration of snow this winter and when my front end loader man decided to take a long vacation I immediately started looking for a for a capable snow thrower. I bought this machine after days of on-line research and noting all the relevant reviews. The only problem I've encountered is with the chute angle contr...

I live in NW Iowa and this area of IA has more snow the winter of 2022/2023 than we have had in a long time. I purchased this blower in early January. It is now early March and I have had the opportunity to use this new blower quite a few times this winter. I am impressed with this blower! I have owned several brands over the years, this is the best built snow blower I have ever owned. This unit has lots of power. My last blower was a 30" cut (another brand) had the triggers you pull to dis...

Great blower once you get it all adjusted .
Got it home, put gas in it. It started right up, but would not move. I had to adjust linkage to make it go forward. Then once moving, the auger would not engage. Again I had to adjust linkage. Once I got it throwing snow, the chute angle adjustment would fall to the bottom position every time the snow hit it. Again another adjustment ! Once I got everything adjusted, it is a fabulous snow blower. I highly recommend this snow blower. The only thing is, I would recommend you purchase it from a re...

Auto Turn has mind of it's own.
I purchased this Ariens #921030 Deluxe 28 to replace a 30 year old Ariens that finally bit the dust. I had high hopes for it after all it is an Ariens. I thought that the new "Auto-Turn" feature sounded like it would be a nice improvement in directional control. I was wrong. I've had nothing but trouble with that feature. It's exhausting to try to go in a straight line which is the majority of any snow-blowing job. Every time the front of the machine contacts an irregularity in...

Pretty good first impression
Purchased the Deluxe 30 to replace my early 90’s vintage Ariens ST824 which just didn’t have the throw I needed to be able to carry my 3 car wide driveway when the winds didn’t allow me to start in the middle. Lowe’s did a solid job setting the machine up (I’ve only needed to tighten the chute control a little to help it stay in place) and it started right up after putting fuel in it and taking a couple pulls. Picked it up on Black Friday and was lucky enough to give it a test that weekend w...

Deluxe 30
I have only purchased Ariens snowblowers since 1970 and 53 years of use has convinced me they are the best choice possible. Their performance and durability has convinced me they are the finest machines made. I have them at my home and my cabin in Northern Wisconsin. I had to replace my snowblower at the cabin and I wanted the security and knowledge that it would easily handle the significant snow that I get there. I purchased the Deluxe 30 and have used it 3 times. It is a fabulous experience t...

Powerful Snow blower, got through a real bad stretch of...
So I'll tell you a story.... Early 2015, Saint John, NB Canada. We had 4 storms in 5-6 days each with at least 25-30 cms (about a foot). I could not keep up with it. My in-laws live next door in their 80's and they obviously couldn't get out there and do too much. So it was left to me... On my street, the snow drifts...very bad...there are some spots that would be 3-4 feet and that's without the plow ridge. So I was hoping to wait it out and buy a slow blower int he late winter to get one at a d...
