Good Fridge - No Shelf freezer

So far, so good. Runs quietly, plenty of room for a small fridge since I have a limited space. The only thing I am disappointed in is there is not a shelf in the freezer. The "one" shelf is a small mini shelf for where the optional ice maker would be(which I did not get/want). I keep my ice cube bin on top, but the space below it only fits once ice tray; so they have to be stacked! Just as all my freezer items are just going to be stacked from bottom to top. Amana is a great brand. Had for many years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s nice and quiet. The only thing is the freezer should have a full size shelf not a half shelf. I know it’s probably for an icemaker shelf. I would’ve preferred a full Shelf option. Needs a light in the freezer model. I would’ve preferred glass Shelves instead of wired. shelvesshelves, and a full-size shelf for the freezer

Needs design improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We want solid glass shelves. The wires on the rack shelves are too far apart. Small bottles fall over so we had to buy containers with low sides to put condiments in. Also the older one had a freezer shelf that went all the way across, so we now have a big area with stuff stacked one on another so we don't really know what's in the freezer without digging for it.

Disappointing

The item showed up with dings. Fingerprints not only show up when the thing is touched, it's nearly impossible to clean them off. The wire racks in the fridge are dreadful. I opted to purchase and have the ice maker installed and it's unbelievably loud. The one good thing was the delivery guys were nice and they were happy to switch the doors for me.

Solid Fridge

I think for the price you are getting a solid fridge. It’s the most affordable name brand fridge on Lowe’s. It’s working fine and it’s a very quiet fridge. If you’re on a budget, this is the fridge I would recommend.

Happy with Fridge But Not with Wire Shelves

When I bought this 1 1/2 years ago, I was somewhat limited due to the dimensions of the space for the fridge. I didn't realize that this is the only fridge out there with wire shelves. The spacing on the wires is too big and bottles will tend to fall over. I ended up buying two custom tempered glass pieces to put on the shelves to make them glass shelves. The Amana refrigerator that was sold to me was not functioning. After my son and I transported it home, followed all instructions that was given to me by Carlos (sales representative}, when we turn it on, it won't turn on, no sound or light came on. Great basic refrigerator!

Works ok, bit rough finfish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the fridge a little noisey and the door corners quite sharp. I tapped the door corners with a hammer then used sandpaper to smooth them out.
