  • Circular object (such as paint can)


  • 1-1/4" dowel  (#19414)
  • 2 - 1/2"x48" dowels (#19382)
  • 1"x48" dowel (#19386)
  • 1-1/2"x48" dowel (#43821)
  • 2"x48" dowel (#43934)
  • Titebond wood glue (#218256)

Step 1

Cut all the dowels to 2" pieces with a table saw.

Step 2

Glue together twosomes of the dowel pieces. Let dry.

Step 3

Line the twosomes around something circular, such as a paint can. Glue pieces together, two at a time, starting from the inside and work toward the outside.

Step 4

Let dry overnight.
