Project Resources

Step 1

Cut 12', 8', and 4' lengths of hose using a utility knife.

Step 2

Loop the 12' section of hose into a circle and secure the ends together with the red duct tape. Continue to wrap the duct tape all the way around the circle. Repeat on the 4' hose. Use blue duct tape on the 8' hose.

Step 3

Use the downloadable star stencil to cut 12 stars out of white knit rags. Sew pairs together to create 6 beanbag stars, leaving a small gap at the tip of each star. Use a small funnel to fill the beanbags with lentils or beans, and then sew closed.

Step 4

Paint three beanbags red and three beanbags blue. Each star may take two coats of paint.
Good to Know
Foam brushes work well for painting fabric.

Step 5

Set up the game by placing the hose circles inside each other. If desired, use house numbers to mark off points: 30 for the small red circle, 20 for the medium-size blue circle, and 10 for the large red circle.
