Step 1

Wear work gloves to disassemble the top section of the downspout strainer. Cut and remove the flexible wire that tightens the top.

Step 2

Secure the downspout strainer between the porcelain piece and the base.

Step 3

Twist in a chandelier bulb. Play up the industrial look with an antique-style bulb.

Follow the manufacturer’s directions to install the brushed-nickel-finish mini pendant. Hang two or three for more impact.
