Merchandising Assistant
Liaison between vendors, Marketing, Logistics, Planogramming,
all support groups and the stores. Interprets, analyzes, and
communicates Merchandising programs and facilitates execution
and implementation of these programs.
Merchandiser
Recommends the items and assortments that will be offered
to Lowe's customers within the parameters of his/her assigned
product group. Maintains awareness of customer needs, opinions
and special demands through analysis of industry trend information
by making regular visits to Lowe's stores, vendors and prospective
vendors. Identifies market-specific items.
Merchandising Director
Establishes the strategic direction for the assigned product
groups (i.e. pricing, expansion, distribution, competition,
financial objectives, etc.) ensuring Merchandising goals and
objectives are communicated and pursued by all direct reports.
Assists in the development and implementation of the business
plans (product selection, budgets, marketing, sales, etc.)
for assigned product groups. Conducts annual product group
reviews to determine changes/improvements as needed. Communicates
with vendors and stores on a regular basis to discuss product
issues and handle product group problems.
Merchandising Vice President
Provides strategic direction and leadership. Directs
activities of the work group to allow for attainment of financial
objectives and allow Lowe’s to remain a strong competitor
in the marketplace.
