Distribution
Distribution Operations Manager
Executes daily production plans that meet or exceed store service
level expectations while achieving maximum operating efficiency.
Develop and implement short and long-range staffing plans based
on productivity objectives and forecasted volume requirements.
Daily balancing of labor availability and volume requirements
throughout the facility. Recruit, hire, train, develop, and
retain effective shift management team. Develop, analyze, and
recommend strategic and tactical operational and systemic improvements
to meet current and future service, throughput, and cost objectives.
Distribution Coach
Responsible for the hiring, training, and leadership of a
distribution center work team of up to 40 individuals. The
Operations Coach assists in developing and executes daily
operational plans to meet and exceed store service requirements,
while maximizing quality, safety, throughput and productivity
of their designated area.
Transportation
Inbound Transportation Manager
Manages inbound transportation program to stores and distribution
centers. Provides necessary support for expedited loads during
weather-related situations. Ensures service levels meet expectations
and that the necessary capacity is in place to support business
needs and control transportation expenses. Manage and develop
inbound transportation team associates. Develops and maintains
relationships between the vendor, carrier and Lowe's.
Transportation Analyst
Provides ongoing transportation analysis to identify trends
and to provide logistics and transportation-related solutions.
Design, develop and improve Lowe's inbound and outbound LTL
Transportation processes. Identifies opportunities to reduce
cycle time and to improve the overall transportation distribution
process from the vendor, through the carrier, to receiving
those goods at Lowe's stores. Facilitate, develop and coordinate
the transportation delivery standards management process as
well as the vendor and carrier-specific transportation performance
improvement process. |
