Looking for a way to save on energy bills and make your home environment more comfortable overall? Using blown-in insulation in attics and insulating crawlspaces are simple ways to improve any home’s insulation. If you’re considering crawlspace insulation or attic insulation installation, you don’t need to worry about finding insulation companies or insulation contractors to do the job. Lowe’s is here to help with our blown-in and batt insulation installation service.
There are two types of insulation material to choose from, and which one you choose is up to you. Cellulose insulation, made from recycled paper and treated to be fire-resistant, is the most common material used. Blown-in fiberglass insulation is melted recycled glass or sand that’s been spun into fibers and is lighter in weight than its counterpart, requiring a thicker layer to be installed. With either option, the most important factor to consider is the R-value: the insulation’s resistance to heat flow. Simply put, the colder the climate, the higher the R-value will need to be.
Wondering about blown-in or batt installation costs? Along with the quote you’ll be provided with after the in-home measurement of the space, we also offer Special Financing options to make it even easier to stay within budget. Let Lowe’s help you combat heat loss with our insulation install service today.
