Featured Partnership
Sleep in Heavenly Peace
The mission of Sleep in Heavenly Peace is to see that “no kid sleeps on the floor in our town!” Local chapters nationwide organize community outreach events — including many hosted at Lowe’s stores — where volunteers build beds. The organization then mobilizes volunteers to deliver and install the beds for children in need living in their communities.
On May 6 and 7, thousands of Lowe’s associates and community volunteers came together to build beds for a record-setting 24 hours, handcrafting thousands of beds for children in need across 49 cities in 16 states — generating 100,000 square feet of impact.

Lowe’s Hometowns
Lowe’s Hometowns is a five-year, $100 million commitment to revitalize and renovate community spaces nationwide. Each year, through 2026, Lowe’s selects 100 large-scale community projects nominated by consumers and 1,700 smaller community impact projects selected by Lowe’s associates.
By collaborating with local community organizations and nonprofits and leveraging the expertise of Lowe’s Red Vest associates, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.
Safe and Affordable Housing
Each year Lowe’s partners with select nonprofits, such as Rebuilding Together and Habitat for Humanity, to identify and complete critical home repairs in the most vulnerable neighborhoods across America. As a home improvement retailer, we’re uniquely suited to address this issue — not just through financial contributions but also by providing the products needed to get the job done.
Every year, Lowe’s Red Vest associates provide hearts-in, hands-on expertise by teaming up with our nonprofit partners at many of the home repair projects, sharing in the opportunity to help their communities thrive.
Disaster Relief
As a home improvement retailer, Lowe’s priority is to be there for our associates and communities before, during and after a natural disaster. Following disasters, our recovery efforts include distributing critically needed cleanup supplies through our Bucket Brigades, partnering with local organizations to hand out free meals, and deploying our mobile Tool Rental Disaster Response Trailer to help people get both homes and businesses up and running.
Our support for communities also includes financial support of numerous disaster relief nonprofits that respond to immediate needs and rebuilding efforts in the months and years following the event.
