Materials

  • 9 - 1/4"x36" square dowels (#27546)
  • 2 packages 3/8"x1-1/2" zinc-plated fender washers (#136662)
  • Krazy Glue advanced formula gel (#354774)
  • Valspar spray paint, Gloss Berry

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the dowels into 24 pieces 5" long, 40 pieces 2-3/4" long, and 24 pieces 2-1/4" long. Sand the ends of the dowels smooth.

Step 2

Using the Project Diagram as a guide, lay out eight of the 5" dowel pieces so they form an octagonal shape. Glue the pieces together and let dry.

Step 3

Glue on eight additional 5" pieces where shown; let dry.

Step 4

Glue on the X shapes with 16 of the 2-3/4" pieces where shown; let dry.

Step 5

Glue on the eight remaining 5" dowels; let dry.

Step 6

Glue on the 24 remaining 2-3/4" pieces in asterisk shapes; let dry.

Step 7

Glue on additional asterisk shapes using all 24 of the 2-1/4" pieces; let dry.

Step 8

Spray-paint the wreath in a color of your choice (we used Valspar Gloss Berry). Let dry.

Step 9

Glue on eight washers where shown; let dry.
