Marianne Binetti has a degree in horticulture from Washington State University, helps train Master Gardeners and appears on local radio and TV, as well as a guest on HGTV and The Discovery Channel. She has been gardening for 30 years and is the author of 10 gardening books. Her latest, Vegetable Gardening for Washington and Oregon, shares tips for growing in the often-rainy Northwest climate. Marianne writes a syndicated newspaper column and has twice received national awards of excellence in journalism.
