Instructions

Step 1

Using a 5/8" bit, drill a hole in the center of the wood round. Sand the edges smooth.

Good to Know

Before going to Lowe's, measure the height of the tree branch you'll use to hang the swing. This will determine how many feet of rope you need to buy. Also, make sure you choose a tree branch that will support the weight of your child -- keeping in mind that the swing is designed for smaller children.

Step 2

Apply Valspar Gloss Cherry spray paint to the round. Let dry overnight.

Step 3

Slide the twisted nylon rope up through the hole in the wood disc. Tie a knot below the hole to secure in place. Tie securely to a tree branch -- and it's swing time!
