Instructions

Looking to make a splash on a backsplash? With these simple steps, you can tile in a day -- and enjoy the beauty for a lifetime.

It's easier than ever with the Bondera Tile MatSet. Bondera is an advanced adhesive on a roll that allows you to tile a backsplash in half the time. Peel. Stick. Grout. Done!

Step 1

image
Measure and make a straight line with a ruler or straight edge onto the top liner with a marker. Hold a straight edge tightly and cut Bondera with a utility knife on a hard protective backing.

Step 2

image
Locate Bondera tab inside core of roll. Place the tab diagonally at the corner of the non-grid side.

Step 3

image
Pull tab diagonally while holding the front side (grid side) at the corner.

Step 4

image
Initially, only pull back liner 2 to 3 inches to begin installation onto substrate.

Step 5

image
Pull back liner 2 to 3 inches (back is non-grid side).

Step 6

image
Align and lightly place manageable size sheet of Bondera onto the substrate. When satisfied with the location, press initial exposed back side.

Step 7

image
After initial placement of Bondera, continue by pulling back liner while pressing Bondera with your hand or a grout float.

Step 8

image
Gently press tiles into place and continue on with spacers and tiles for a row or two. Make sure tiles are square and properly placed. Press each tile for five seconds either with your hand or a grout float. Grout within eight hours of placing tile for best results. Wipe clean.
