With an Extended Protection Plan or Replacement Plan you know you're covered.

Protection You Can Depend On

Investing in a Lowe's Extended Protection Plan means you'll receive peace of mind knowing your product is covered after a manufacturer's warranty expires. We'll make repairs on the covered product, including those made due to mechanical or electrical failure, at no additional cost to you. And it's hassle-
free — your product will be serviced by an authorized Lowe's technician for the life of your plan.*

Choose a Replacement Plan

For products costing less than $200 before tax, Lowe's Replacement Plans* provide you with additional protection. While a manufacturer's warranty typically expires after one year, a Replacement Plan** keeps you covered for an additional one or two years.

You Made the Right Choice

Typically, manufacturers provide parts and labor protection on qualified products for one year after purchase. With your Lowe's Extended Protection Plan,* you'll receive additional coverage for years to come.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:

Do I have to register my Lowe's Protection Plan?

No. If you have a claim on your product, call the Lowe's Contact Center at 1-888-77LOWES (56937) to speak with an agent. We recommend that you save your receipt, but in the event the receipt is lost or misplaced, the Lowe's Contact Center should be able to locate your information using your name and phone number.

Q:

How does an Extended Protection Plan differ from a manufacturer's warranty?

A manufacturer typically only covers defects in materials and workmanship. An EPP does this plus protects against power surges, environmental factors, such as heat, dust and humidity, and failures caused by normal wear and tear.

Q:

How long are products covered under a manufacturer's parts and labor warranty?

Please refer to the Use and Care Guide that came with your product. In it you'll find warranty information specific to your product.

Q:

How can I find out if my product is still under a manufacturer's warranty?

Contact the Lowe's Service Center at 1-888-77-LOWES (56937).

Q:

What does an Extended Protection Plan cover?

An EPP covers electrical and mechanical issues, problems caused by dust, heat and humidity. It also covers failure caused by normal wear and tear.

Q:

What's not covered by an Extended Protection Plan?

An EPP doesn't cover accidental damage or abuse, routine maintenance and consumables, unless otherwise specified. More exclusions apply. For a complete list, refer to the Terms and Conditions.

How do I set up service for my product or get additional information on Extended Protection Plans?

Call the Lowe's Service Center at 1-888-77-LOWES (56937) Monday through Saturday between 7 a.m. and 12 a.m., and Sunday between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Q:

Is there a time limit on purchasing a Lowe's Protection Plan?

Customers have up to 30 days after their original product purchase to buy a Lowe's Protection Plan.

Q:

Why would I purchase an Extended Protection Plan on a water heater?

The manufacturer's coverage only covers parts and one year of in-home labor. Buying an EPP provides a customer who purchased a water heater with a 12-year manufacturer's warranty with 11 years of in-home labor, and if the water heater is replaced under the manufacturer's warranty or the EPP, we'll cover reinstallation. Additionally, power surge coverage will begin at date of purchase.

Q:

Is a Lowe's Protection Plan transferable?

Yes, it's transferable. Not only can you give it as a gift, but you can also sell it, and you won't be charged for transferring the plan.
