Lowe's Extended Protection Plans

Appliance Protection

Appliances that are eligible for an Extended Protection Plan include but aren't limited to cooktops, dishwashers, dryers, freezers, over-the range microwaves, ranges, refrigerators, trash compactors and washing machines. While a manufacturer's warranty typically provides parts and labor protection for one year on these major appliances, a Lowe's Extended Protection Plan* offers coverage for an additional two or four years.

• Extended Protection Plans start after a manufacturer's parts-and-labor warranty ends.
• We'll reimburse you for food spoilage from the date of plan purchase. This is limited to $250 per year in California.
• Up to $150 per claim on two-year plans
• Up to $250 per claim on four-year plans
• No limit on the number of claims
• If your product can't be fixed, we'll replace it.**
• If your product fails and reinstallation is required, we'll cover the cost.
• We'll cover necessary repairs due to normal wear and tear.
• We'll cover repairs due to power surge from day one.
• With four-year plans, we'll reimburse you for necessary rentals starting from the date of plan purchase.

Replacement Plans

For products costing less than $200 before tax, a Lowe's Replacement Plan* provides coverage for an additional one or two years. With the Lowe's Replacement Plan,** we'll replace your product in the event of a covered failure. While a manufacturer's warranty typically expires after one year, a Replacement Plan keeps you covered for an additional one or two years.

**Replacement may be with new, rebuilt, or refurbished product of equal or similar features and functionality or by reimbursement by merchandise card or check.
