Heating and Cooling Protection

Heating and cooling products that are eligible for a Lowe's Extended Protection Plan* include but aren't limited to air conditioners, evaporative coolers, fireplaces, heaters and portable fans. An Extended Protection Plan provides coverage for three or four years and includes benefits not covered by the manufacturer.

• Extended Protection Plans covering heating and cooling products start the day you purchase them.
• If your product can't be fixed, we'll replace it.**
• We'll cover necessary repairs due to normal wear and tear.
• We'll cover repairs due to power surge from day one.

Replacement Plans

For products costing less than $200 before tax, a Lowe's Replacement Plan* provides coverage for an additional one or two years. With the Lowe's Replacement Plan,** we'll replace your product in the event of a covered failure. While a manufacturer's warranty typically expires after one year, a Replacement Plan keeps you covered for an additional one or two years.

*Product coverage ends upon product replacement or cash settlement. (Not applicable in Arizona or Nevada.)

**Replacement may be with new, rebuilt, or refurbished product of equal or similar features and functionality or by reimbursement by merchandise card or check.
