Hermann Engelmann Greenhouses and its Exotic Angel Brand® were born in 1971 in Apopka, Fla., just outside of Orlando. The name of the brand comes from the German name of the founder: Engelmann. Translated, it means "a man of angels." Hermann Engelmann came from six generations of horticulturists; the tradition of growing high-quality plants with complete focus on the end-user are still deeply imbedded in the company’s DNA.
