General Instructions
Cut and label the parts as needed, using the Cut List as a guide and adjusting for fit.
1. Build the frame assemblies.
a. Set the table saw blade at 45 degrees, and rip cut the 1 x 6 to create the (01) cleat and (02) back top rail.b. Using glue and pocket hole screws, attach the (02) back top rail and the (03) back bottom rail to the (04) back stiles as shown in Figure 1. The bevel cut in the (02) back top rail should be facing inward (see Figure 6).
c. Using glue and pocket hole screws, attach the (05) side rails to the (06) side stiles as shown in Figure 1.
d. Attach the end frame assemblies to the back assembly using glue and 1-5/8-inch screws.
2. Attach the top, bottom, back panel and side panels.
a. Lay the frame assembly on its back, and attach the (07) bottom and (08) top to the frame assembly using glue and 1 5/8-inch screws (see Figure 2). The outside edges of the (07) bottom and (08) top should be flush with the outside edges of the frame assembly.b. Attach the (09) back panel to the (02) back top rail, (03) back bottom rail, and (04) back stiles using glue and wire brads (see Figure 3).
c. Attach the (10) side panels to the (05) side rails and (06) side stiles using glue and wire brads. The front edges of the (10) side panels should be flush with the front edges of the frame assembly.
3. Attach the moulding and doors.
a. Scribe to fit and attach (11) cove moulding to the areas around the (09) back panel and where the (07) bottom and (08) top meet the (10) side panels, using glue and brads (see Figure 4).b. Fill all holes. Sand, prime and paint the cabinet assembly and the (12) doors.
c. Attach the two outer (12) doors to the front (06) side stiles using two bifold hinges per door, following the manufacturer’s instructions (see Figure 5).
d. Attach the two inner (12) doors to the two outer (12) doors using two bifold hinges per door.
e. Attach magnetic catches to the two inner (12) doors and to the (07) bottom and (08) top.
f. Attach drawer pulls to the two inner (12) doors.
4. Attach the cabinet to the wall.
a. Drill an access hole in the cabinet for the power and cable cords based upon the outlet locations on your wall.b. Attach the (01) cleat to the wall using appropriate fasteners and anchors for your wall type, and check for level.
c. Position the cabinet on the (01) cleat, and attach it by driving 1-5/8-inch screws through the (09) back panel and into the (01) cleat (see Figure 6).
