After a long day of play in their newly renovated activity room that’s adjacent to this space, the family (including quintuplets) can grab a snack, watch a movie, and just hang out in their new media room. Its custom design meets all of their needs and includes a fully stocked hospitality area, a built-in entertainment center, and plenty of floor space for lounging.
A built-in snack center allows Mom to keep an eye on the children while whipping up a quick treat. She can pop popcorn in the microwave for a movie night, and store enough drinks for the whole gang in a small refrigerator.
Colorful details, such as the pendant light with a blue shade and multicolored tile backsplash, give the space a casual, cheerful touch.
A single lever faucet is easy to turn on and off, and the pullout spray is great for quick cleanup.
A grab bar, mounted on the outside of the base cabinet, creates a handy storage spot for dish towels and frees valuable space in the cabinetry.
The design associates in the Lowe’s kitchen cabinetry department created a custom entertainment center by mixing base cabinets with open shelving and beaded-board panels. The finished result is a timeless piece that offers plenty of storage for books, video games and movies.
A blank wall near the hospitality center provides a perfect place for freestanding storage. The nine-cube organizer is paired with bright bins that can hold everything from action figures to small musical instruments.
