In what amounts are Lowe's Gift Cards available?

Standard and customized Lowe's Gift Cards are available in any amount between $5 and $500. Although a Lowe's Gift Card can be reloaded, no more than $2,000 can be redeemed from a single card in one day.

Where can I use my Lowe's Gift Card?

Gift cards can be redeemed in any Lowe’s store or online at Lowes.com.

Can I reload my gift card?

You can reload a standard or customized Lowe's Gift Card at the Customer Service desk in any Lowe's store.

Will my gift card expire or decrease in value?

Lowe's Gift Cards don't have expiration dates or additional fees. The value of your gift card will be reduced when used to make a purchase.

How do I check the status of my order?

To check your order status, call us toll-free at 1-877-66-LOWES (56937), or email us at customercare@lowes.com.

Does Lowe's offer a discount if I purchase a large quantity of gift cards?

We do offer volume discounts. Please refer to Corporate Gift Card Orders for more information.

How do I place a Corporate Gift Card order?

To place a corporate order with a credit or debit card, complete an order form and fax to 336-658-3209. If you prefer to pay by check, send the completed order form along with payment to Attn: Gift Card Sales, Lowe’s Companies, Call Center Commerce #747, Mail Code CON8, 1605 Curtis Bridge Road, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.

How do I check my gift card balance?

There are three ways to check your gift card balance: online at Lowes.com/giftcards, by phone at 1-800-560-7172 or at the Customer Service desk in any Lowe's store.

Can I return a Lowe's Gift Card or exchange it for cash?

Lowe's Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash unless required by law.

Can I use my Lowe's Gift Card to pay my Lowe's Credit Card balance?

Lowe's Gift Cards cannot be used to make payments on any charge account.

What if I lose my gift card?

Lost or stolen gift cards can only be replaced upon presentation of original sales receipt for any remaining balance. The sales receipt will be void if altered or defaced.

Why did Lowe's decide to only allow merchandise cards to be used for in-store transactions?

This was done in response to multiple issues arising from merchandise cards being bought and sold outside of Lowe's. To avoid customer confusion, theft and fraud, Lowe's has decided to eliminate the use of merchandise cards online.

What does it mean that merchandise cards must be present?

Merchandise cards must be swiped at the register for sale transactions. Hand-keyed and bar code scanned merchandise cards will no longer be accepted systematically.

Does this change affect merchandise cards issued prior to January 8, 2016?


How can I check the balance of a merchandise card?

Merchandise card balance inquiries can only be obtained in Lowe’s stores, preferably at customer service. Balance inquiries for merchandise cards for any value have been eliminated from access via the Web. Please note that you will no longer be able to receive balance inquiries by calling 1-800-560-7172.

Can I still use Gift Cards online?

Gift cards are sold and can be used in-store and online. Merchandise cards are issued for non-receipted refunds and therefore, can only be used in store.
