Have a question about using your credit card on Lowes.com? We can help.

Why wasn't I able to complete my online credit card transaction?

  1. Your credit card company may have placed a hold on your credit card transaction.

To resolve this issue, contact your credit card company to ask them to remove any restriction on your credit card (they can do so instantly). Then you can can submit your online transaction again.

  2. The billing zip code you entered may not match your credit card company's records.

To resolve this issue, please see whether your billing zip code matches the one on your credit card statement.

If you receive your credit card statement at your home address, your billing zip code should be your home zip code. Your billing zip code must match the first 5-digits of the zip code on your credit card statement to be successfully processed by our online payment system.

Do you accept all major credit cards?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

May I pay with a non-US credit card?

In order to prevent fraud, Lowes.com credit card payments can only be made with a card associated with a US billing address. So non-US credit cards are not eligible for making payment on Lowes.com.

However, customers with non-US credit cards can use them at any time at Lowe's stores; there, those customers are able to present ID in order to aid in fraud prevention.
