This garden is small enough to plant in a weekend, but it will give you pleasure for years. While not every yard has a brick wall and path, everyone has a corner or two that could be called into service as a meditation garden. Just fill it with the same eye-catching plants you see here. Include a fountain, if possible, as the trickling water adds a finishing touch. These plants like moist soil and partly shady conditions. Morning sun and afternoon shade would be ideal.
