Kitchen Catch-all Organization
Used as a drop-off space for art, coupons, and receipts, BowerPower decided to tackle a messy kitchen desk. Skewed shelves lift items off the desk, and decorative storage keeps odds and ends hidden. The user also installed a new overhead pendant to light the new space.
BrianB from North Carolina has three children with a lot of shoes. The scattered shoes are now neatly tucked away in the shelves of this vintage table.
DIY Laundry Shelving
RealSouthernLiving from Georgia was tired of the maze of dirty clothes outside the laundry room. Adding shelves gave this family a way to organize and store the laundry off the floor. “Now my family can unload and sort dirty clothes in the baskets up off the floor. As the laundry gets washed, it gets returned to the basket to be put away.”
AhaArtist from Nevada decided to conquer kitchen clutter with a kitchen island. The user says it was their first woodworking project. “It was a little daunting at first, but after modifying the plans to what I needed and getting the supplies, it wasn’t too bad.”
User JMayes from Georgia created an organized kid’s closet using a wood closet tower kit purchased at Lowe’s. “We added pullout drawers and hanging rods at just the right levels for little-girl clothing,” she says.
